The castle where Emily was shot in Paris is this

Since Emily arrived in Paris, or rather, on Netflix, social networking has become totally crazy and they keep bombarding us with the fabulous looks of the Lily Collins character, but… Has anyone said anything about the scenarios? 😍

Specifically, we refer to the visit to the family castle of Camille, the splendid Château de Lalisse. You remember that, don’t you? Well, get ready to freak out, because the castle is actually called Le Château de SonnayIt is located in Chinon, a French town 3 hours drive from Paris. In fact, it is a winery that has been operating as such since the mid-19th century, although it was built around 1260, when it served as a fortress during the Crusades.

It turns out that the production designer of the series, Anne Seibel, is a close friend of the current owner of the castle, Frédéric de Foucaudwho gladly offered his home to the team. Along with another location, Le Château de Sonnay ended up being the perfect place to film the vacation of Camille, Emily and Gabriel.

Don’t you think this is the ideal destination for your next holidays post-pandemic? We are already thinking about the clothes we will take and the thousands of pictures we will take to hang on Instagram as if we were Emily herself.
