If there’s one thing you can’t miss at a party, it’s the balloons… Today there is an infinite diversity of balloons, in terms of colors, shape, sizes and textures … This allows us to set our celebrations to perfection according to the theme we have chosen.
On this occasion, the following were chosen long tubular balloonsto make a very original garland and fun. They are the ones commonly used for globology. The particularity is that they are deformed with the hands to create a zigzag effect that gives movement. If you don’t like it that way, you can leave them as they are after you inflate them.
For this work were chosen balloons of colors forming a rainbow, you can choose different shades of the same color to create a more striking effect. The amount of balloons you need will be according to the size of garland you want to achieve.
Materials
- Balloons tube of the desired colors
- Hand Inflator
- Scissors
- Thick thread or cord
Step by step
- Inflate each balloon leaving about 10 cm at the tip without inflating and knotting.
- Starting from the knotted end, fold the balloon into a zigzag shape. Hold the anterior fold while doing the next to bring the air to the uninflated end.
- Tie each balloon with the thread or cord and then hang in the desired place.
