East 260 m2 triplex located in the city of São Paulo, is the home of a young couple. Being a house in which they would live for a long period, they were looking for a timeless style with personality. To achieve this, the architects Fabiana Silveira and Patricia de Palma decided to give all the prominence to the materials, playing with different textures throughout the house.
Distribution. The entrance is on the ground floor. On the first floor are the common areas. The second floor houses the night area, with the master suite and the couple’s bathroom, as well as two other bedrooms. The attic was used to create a leisure area where young people could receive their friends and family on weekends.
Reforms. The two bathrooms on the second floor were joined to form the suite bathroom. The other bedrooms were also reconfigured and modifications were made to the property’s roofs.
As one of the premises of the project was that all the rooms of the house were connected, the architects kept the original natural wood floor and used some additional coatings to give it the desired personality.
Working with durable and easy-to-maintain materials was essential for this job. The natural stone Moledo de Santa Isabel stands out.
