How to make a DIY functional mosquito net at a low cost with materials that are easily found at home or in a DIY store?

When it becomes difficult to find the right measures or it is not possible to apply the usual mosquito nets available on the market to the windows of the house, the problem can be solved with the “do it yourself” method, simple, fast and almost at no cost.

Here is a step by step guide to keep mosquitoes away from our homes, thanks to the creation of a quick mosquito net that can be adapted to any size or space.

Required material

• 1 net for mosquito nets available at hardware stores;
• silicone
• thumbtacks or punches (optional)
• curtain rod.

Procedure: how to do it

1. With tape we fix the mosquito net above the window to check the required length and width
2. Then we proceed to the cut, leaving 5 cm in the lower part that will serve as a bag.
3. On the lower part, make a thin fold and insert a curtain rod of the same length as the frame, fixing it at both ends.
4. We then fix the mosquito net with silicone, instead of scotch tape.
